Relax or Play – Shows and Workshops from Resident Artistes
Jugglers Rest has been blessed to share space with many talented people, some of whom choose to stay on and practice their art here! We offer you a space to explore your creativity – be it cooking, making music, relaxing, enjoying the amazing gardens and atmosphere or a spot of circus play!
Jugglers Rest first started operating as a backpackers 24 years ago in the then kiwi style of backpackers – bunk accommodation with a base sheet and a pillow!
Over the years Jugglers Rest has maintained its friendly, creative atmosphere and added oodles of comfort and ambience into the mix!
We are sometimes described as a homestay – rather than a hostel – but you decide! We tend not to fit into any category!
Fitting with the changing face of travelling and backpacking we have gently moved into the boutique accommodation sector and in line with modern trends we now sell our rooms not just through our own website platform but those of other global companies.
You can easily book any of our rooms through Air BnB and BBH.
For instant confirmation you can book with booking.com
But !! For the best prices – call us directly!
Office hours are 9am-6pm.
However: We believe that the best things are worth waiting for!
SO, if you’d like the best prices we invite you to spend a maximum of 18 hours being relaxed, breathing and planning other aspects of your trip so that we can repond to your accommodation request directly by email.
You may even get instant confirmation if you phone within office hours (9am-6pm)
Jugglers Rest has become famous for its great staff, relaxed atmosphere and fun, creative vibe.
Help us maintain this and keep the prices low for both of us by booking direct.
